Doc was given the bums rush from Facebook's WordPress Help and Share Group today. He shared this article: How to get FREE Transport Layer Security (TLS) Encryption with the group. Immediately after posting the article he was attacked by a moderator.
The moderator said Doc should read the group rules. Promotional links were not allowed. Doc responded saying the link was not promotional, and he was not selling anything.
Doc has shared two Facebook links to WordPress help and share group. That's not spamming the group in any way.
Doc likes to be helpful whenever he hangs out in cyberspace and wrote the article in question to assist other webmasters needing free advice.
This Facebook group WordPress Heroes was created by WP Fix It who solicits group members who need WordPress help routinely. It's about making money. Someone like me comes around who is very WordPress savvy and offers FREE Help is not wanted.
Doc has answered others questions in WordPress Heroes Facebook Group many times. Often he was either doubted or told someone was already assisting the question poster.
The bottom line here is. It's OK for Jarrett Guchi and his trusted associates to solicit WordPress help and share group members for profit. But Doc posts a helpful article that will cost WP Fix It revenue and is shown the group door.
Oh well.. Jest another day on Facebook!
